Mark Williams, Owner & Consulting Arborist
With over 26 years of experience across the private and public sectors, Mark offers a comprehensive perspective on horticulture and arboriculture. Originally from Fort Myers, Florida—the "City of Palms"—he specializes in tree preservation, risk assessment, and management plan formulation. Mark is known for meeting high-pressure deadlines through creative problem-solving and clear communication.
His distinguished career includes serving as the City Urban Forester for both Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach. In these roles, Mark authored tree preservation ordinances, secured forestry grants, and developed the strategic frameworks for the Urban Forestry Master Plans in both cities.
In addition to his current role as President-elect of the Florida Urban Forestry Council (FUFC), Mark has a proven track record of service as the former Board Secretary for the Landscape Inspectors Association of Florida (LIAF).
